Chocolate Rain

Recently, more and more local magazine tend to follow the trend in Japan,
adding souvernir into the booklet .
The range of these souvenir varies from iphone case to headphone, from tote bag to umberella.
It already becomes one of the superior selling point.

For me, really, i just remember how the souvenir looks rather than wht brand it belongs to.
But of course , there are some preference (at leaset maybe 3sec eyes catching haha! just ''preference'' when comparing with other brand's souvenir  , not like , not love)

seems talking too far from my topic ,
let's get back.

Chocolate Rain -
the founder of Chocolate Rain is a young girl called Prudence Mak ( i dun know wht' her exact age while i saw her on TV in the first time i known this brand.)
And the above doll which named Fatina , she is the main main character of this brand.

 (Prudence Mak with Fatina)
i love Prudence far more than Fatina indeed.
She is so tough that she insists on her dream everyday

Prudence loves dreaming, so she created Fatina who is a forever eyes-shutting girl.
that's one of the point i appreciate her..

Art by Matt Furie

i love his work definitely

here is the information about this young genius:

Matt Furie is a San Francisco based artist and native Ohioan, who uses nostalgia in a complex and compelling way. His characters could have all lived in my twelve year old brain; stuffed animals, childhood film gods like Falcor and Freddie Kruger, monsters, and furry creatures. Furie’s characters engage mostly in familiar childhood/teenage activities like BMX cruises, trips to the store with mom, birthday parties and a good deal of humping.

Barbie Art

For me , Barbie never grow up.
She stays young and pretty ....
forever and ever x_x (jealous)

Barbie Art is not a new domain.
not fresh at all

Number of barbies in above pic is equal to the number of elective breast-augmentation surgeries performed every month in the U.S. in 2006.
That's already something about social issue

"Barbluella" (acrylic on canvas, 1994)
Kenny Scharf is an American painter who uses cartoons, like the Jetsons, as inspiration for his work.

Pixar 25th Anniversary celebration in Sha Tin

Pixar has produced eleven feature films, beginning with Toy Story in 1995.
is Toy Story!
one of my favourite movie!

i really appreciate of wht these kind of 'creator' created
wht they created is not merely a kind of MOVIE/WORK/PIECE whtever
they actually built a new world to those who desire a wonderland
